The City of Golden Valley is seeking local artists to participate in its fall and winter public art displays at Brookview and City Hall. Applications will be accepted until August 18, with selected artists notified in late August.
The city rotates art displays seasonally, showcasing both two-dimensional and three-dimensional pieces in the two venues.
To be eligible, artists must reside in the local area. Submissions should not contain any content that is offensive or derogatory toward any race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation. Additionally, artwork must not be used to promote or oppose any political views. A complete list of criteria is available on the City website.
This rotational art project reflects the City’s commitment to promoting and integrating arts, culture and community aesthetic throughout Golden Valley.
