On Thursday, April 10, outdoor warning sirens will sound at 1:45 pm and 6:45 pm to simulate a tornado warning. The first drill is for businesses and schools, while the evening drill is for second-shift workers and families. The City will also test GV Emergency, its mass emergency notification system, at 1:45 pm.

Severe Weather Awareness week is also an ideal time for folks to review and update their emergency preparedness plans and kits. For more information on how to stay safe during severe weather, visit the MNDPS website.
