After a brief hiatus, the Golden Valley Festival is back. Hosted by the Golden Valley Community Foundation (GVCF), this event returns Saturday, Sept 13, 10 am to 10 pm under the Golden Valley Water Tower. The celebration will feature live music, arts and fine crafts, children’s activities, local food trucks, and a beer and wine tent.
Artist and fine craft applications are open now through Aug 10. There is no application fee, and this portion is sponsored and juried by the Minnesota Artist Guild.
Festival organizers are recruiting volunteers to join the festival team. Volunteer roles include selecting performers, curating the artist exhibit space, coordinating vendors, managing sponsorships, designing signage, and helping run activities on the day of the event.
Community members are also invited to take a brief online survey to share ideas and feedback on the festival.
