Community members are invited to an open house to provide input on the Bassett Creek/Ȟaȟá Wakpádaŋ restoration project on Thursday, June 5, 4–7 pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
The City and the Bassett Creek Watershed Management Commission are nearing 50% plan designs for the upcoming creek stabilization project on Bassett Creek- Ȟaȟá Wakpádaŋ between Regent Ave N and Golden Valley Rd. The proposed project aims to stabilize streambanks, reduce erosion, improve water quality and habitat, and preserve the creek for future generations.
Project staff will be available to answer questions and collect feedback. The open house is free and open to all. Additional opportunities for public comment will be available on the City’s project website after the event.
