The Ottawa Watermain project is relocating portions of the City’s watermain to allow the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) to build a new bike trail and retaining wall along the north side of Hwy 55. Construction began Aug 7 and is expected to be completed by mid-September.
Access to businesses will be maintained throughout the project, though brief interruptions may occur as work progresses. Residents on Killarney Dr and businesses on the east side of Ottawa Ave will have one overnight water shutoff as part of the project.
