Seven residents will be on the ballot Nov 4 for the two available Golden Valley City Council seats. Council members Denise La Mere-Anderson and Gillian Rosenquist have decided not to run for re-election and their terms expire at the end of 2025.
Golden Valley residents who have filed for office include Aaron Black, Joanie Clausen, Steve Dent, Tracey Fussy, Andy Johnson, Jean Kidd, and Chris Queitzsch. More information about the candidates is available on the Minnesota Secretary of State website at candidates.sos.mn.gov.
Absentee voting begins Friday, Sept 19. Official election results will be posted on the Minnesota Secretary of State website as they become available after the polls close on Election Day.
