The Golden Valley Fire Department recently held a promotional ceremony for a few of its firefighters while also swearing in three new firefighters.

Promoted To Duty Crew Shift Lead

- Travis Ryder
Duty Shift Crew Lead is a new position that began in December 2023 for firefighters to provide leadership to others while working on a duty crew shift. This position is an opportunity for firefighters who may be interested in being a lieutenant in the future to get some leadership experience without the full commitment and responsibilities of being a lieutenant.
