Hennepin County published a draft of its 2024 Solid Waste Management Plan for public review. The plan, which will guide the county’s waste management strategies for the next six years, emphasizes accelerating efforts towards a zero-waste future.
Residents are encouraged to provide their feedback on the plan by completing the comment form by Thursday, Sept 5. The final plan will incorporate public input and be submitted for approval by the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners before the Oct 29 deadline.
