Work is underway on the Zane Ave and Lindsay St Construction Project.
After thorough planning and community engagement activities, including open houses and public hearings, the City of Golden Valley finalized plans for:
- full street reconstruction of Zane Ave N, from Olson Memorial Hwy Frontage Rd N to Golden Valley Rd, and Lindsay St from Zane Ave N to Lilac Dr
- sewer and water main replacement
- sidewalk installation along Zane Ave
- narrowing streets from 40 ft to 26 ft on the eastern portion of Lindsay St, and to 30 ft on the western portion of Lindsay St and all of Zane Ave N
Substantial completion for Phase 1 (Lindsay St) is scheduled by Nov 1, 2024. Full completion for the project, including both Lindsay St and Zane Ave N, is scheduled for Oct 31, 2025.
